If you’re loved one can no longer be cared for at home due to an illness, injury, frailty, or other limitations Long Term Care would be the best option of care. This is a general nursing care area that is home to a varied population with wide ranging needs.
With an attending physician, licenced nursing staff, and therapy staff, we are able to assist our long term care residents to continue to function at the highest level of independence as possible.
It has a very open feel that includes a large covered patio area within view of the centralized nursing station. The patio is linked to the path that winds through the grounds. Over the years we have found that this is a particularly amenable area for family members who choose to assist their resident at meal times or spend lots of time together with various past times.
Wing 4, like the others in our facility, includes a family room where you and your loved one can enjoy privacy for a meal or catching up. This wing does include a fully equipped kitchen and a centralized nursing station. Residents on this wing enjoy bingo a few times a week, daily socials, bus outings, crafts, baking, and more. Friday is always a fun filled day at Ripley Crossing with morning bowling, afternoon ice-cream, and a movie with popcorn in the evening.
