Our Team

Ripley Crossing has long been aware that to provide the best care, you need the best caregivers. We understand the shortage of nurses and aides in Indiana. We make it easy as possible for staff members to continue their formal education while maintaining their current jobs. We also offer Certified Nursing Aide classes.

Ripley Crossing recognizes that the residents and their families value knowledgeable staff members and excellent quality of care. To accomplish this, management makes every effort to attain consistency in the care-giving staff. Each wing is staffed with 1-2 RN/LPNs, 2 CNAs, 1 Activity Aide, and 1 Housekeeping Aide daily.

One manager is assigned to 3 wings to monitor care, provide education, answer questions or concerns immediately, and more. Two managers are assigned to wings during state of emergencies.

We have built a strong team which instils in all staff members the necessity of meeting the residents’ needs and the loved ones of the residents, whatever those needs may be. Ripley Crossing’s owners and managers understand that excellence in resident care is only achieved with the presence of good staffing levels, and they work hard to achieve this. Ripley Crossing has a full time Scheduling Coordinator to see that all areas are covered on a daily basis.

Christy Curry

I have been a CNA for 20 years, I recently decided to take a position in the Activity Department. I love being and doing CNA work, but I wanted to try something new.

When the position became available in the Activity Department a year ago, I choose to try it, and I love it! I love being able to sit and spend 1 on 1 time with each of my residents. I love having the extra time now to listen to each of them talk about their families and what they did for a living rather it be working at home or out in the community.

So I am proud to say I am a CNA/Activity Aide and I wouldn’t change my career for anything! I love the elderly and I hope to retire from Ripley Crossing.

Our Caregivers

"As a nurse we have the ability to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients, their families, and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
